The US Government Engages in Hate Speech Toward Citizens Identified as Targeted Individuals
Disclosure #1: I am not a fan of Identity Politics. But I am a fan of Identity Justice. In this country we have a judicial system that guarantees that every person has a day in court, and that you cannot engage in any form of extrajudicial punishment because you identify as a part of a particular group.
Disclosure #2. I am married to my partner of 20 years. I had to come out of the closet twice: first as a gay man, and the second time as a Targeted Individual.
Disclosure #3. I am one of the 18 plaintiffs in the historic legal case Targeted Justice v. Garland. I have a diagnosis of Havana Syndrome. For the first time, we, a group of Targeted Individuals are asking the Judge (among other things) to remove our names from “Non-Investigative Subject” portion of the Terrorist Searching Database invented by the FBI to put innocent civilians on this glaringly unconstitutional list, that by now has grown to 97% of said database.
We are also asking for the entire Non-Investigative Subject portion to be removed from the Database as unconstitutional.

When I read a motion filed by the attorney representing defendants arguing that the case needs to be dismissed because the allegations are absurd, implausible and fantastical, I thought: what a condescending way to respond to legitimate allegations! So I wrote a Substack about it (link below).
Only when the Plaintiff’s Attorney Ana Toledo filed an opposition to the defendant’s motion, she made me realize that this is no less than hate speech against a group of people identified as Targeted Individuals who dared to ask for their day in court.
Time for the final disclosure. When it comes to freedom of speech, I am a devout Hitchensonian. Hate speech is free speech. I welcome hate speech because I am a free speech absolutist. I welcome hate speech because it lets me know upfront and without trying to read minds (oh, the irony!) what others think of me, or about a group of people. With the exception of rare direct incitement of violence, let freedom of speech fly. It’s one of our fundamental Western principles.
However, that doesn’t stop me from identifying hate speech when I hear it. In this case, our government is bullying Targeted Individuals with derogatory speech full of mockery, condescension, and intimidation.
Thanks for clarity! Now I know what my taxes pay for, - to degrade my brain with pulsed microwaves, and for hate speech.

The irony, indeed. Keep up the critical work, Dr. Ber. I always say about mind control, "if a doctor kidnaps you, is it still kidnapping?" And the answer is yes, it's still a Federal felony to commit kidnapping, let alone torture and murder, which is the meat and potatoes of the TI program. I have never felt more let down and ashamed of the USA then when I realized my own taxes were paying for 24 hour a day harassment, assault, rape, murder and isolation. Important, accredited people like you take on a superhuman amount for "coming out of the closet" about this situation, so on behalf of everyone who understands the full scope of this betrayal, thank you for your work and your sacrifice.
The governments reaction angers me. So friggin arrogant! I am praying for this and all ti's worldwide.
